Meet the heart behind Bloom Learning Studio!
With a bachelor’s degree in education from ULM (2000), she spent two decades teaching 7th grade ELA at CPJH before stepping into early childhood as an Assistant Director of a local learning center in 2021.
After more than 20 years in education, her passion for helping children grow—in confidence, ability, and faith—led her to plant the roots of Bloom. Her desire is to be the change she hopes to see in today’s school system by building a strong foundation in the earliest years—one that prepares children not only academically, socially, and behaviorally, but also spiritually.
Rooted in a Montessori-inspired philosophy, she believes in giving children autonomy through hands-on learning, freedom of choice, and independence in everyday routines. Classrooms are calm, child-centered environments where little ones are encouraged to explore, play, and thrive—while developing intrinsic motivation and confidence in their own capabilities.
At Bloom, faith is interwoven into everything. Biblically integrated lessons and Christ-centered conversations are part of each day, offering children the opportunity to grow in their knowledge of God and begin a personal relationship with Him—early and intentionally.
She believes the first three years of life are the most important, and that children need independence, structure, and unshakable love to bloom into all God created them to be.
When she’s not at the studio, she enjoys Bible study with close friends, crafting, and thrifting. She’s been married for 29 years and is the proud mom to two daughters, one son-in-law, and an even prouder "GiGi" to one sweet grandson. Her favorite children’s book is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn, and her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 6:8—“Here I am, Lord. Send me.”

Free developmental screenings are available upon parent request, and students who qualify can receive the support they need without ever leaving the learning environment they love.
We’ve also partnered with Warner Therapy Services to provide physical therapy right here at Bloom. With free screenings available by request and onsite sessions for children who qualify, we’re able to support each child’s growth and development in a way that’s seamless, familiar, and focused on their needs.
At Bloom Learning Studio, we use Frog Street Curriculum as a foundation for structured, age-appropriate learning—while also weaving in faith-based lessons, purposeful play, and hands-on discovery each day. Children will explore early language, math, science, social-emotional skills, and Biblical truths in a nurturing environment designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
The A-MAY-zing Fun Bus is a colorful, movement-filled adventure on wheels! Packed with sensory and gross motor play opportunities, this special bus visits Bloom once a week to give children a chance to climb, bounce, crawl, and explore in a safe, structured environment. It’s a joyful way to support development while adding a little extra fun to their day!
At Bloom Learning Studio, we believe that children thrive when families are actively involved in their learning journey. Throughout the year, we offer opportunities for connection through parent-teacher conferences, family fun events, and special moments where parents can volunteer or visit the studio. Whether you’re cheering your child on, helping with a hands-on project, or joining in classroom celebrations, your presence helps our Bloom community flourish.
